A two day national seminar on 'Governance in Pakistan: Problems & Prospects' organized by the Department of Political Science, concluded today at the Main Campus of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.

A famous journalist, Analysist and Executive Director The News Peshawar, Mr. Rahim Ullah Yousafzai, Chairman Department of Islamic Studies AWKUM, Dr. Hafiz Salih Ud din, Chairman Department of International Relations University of Peshawar, Dr. Adnan Sarwar, Director Islamic Centre University of Peshawar, Dr. Dost Muhammad Khan, Director Area Study Centre University of Peshawar, Dr. Sarfaraz Khan and Vice Chancellor Women University of Peshawar, Dr. Razia Sultana graced the seminar with their presence and shared their views regarding the topic with the audience.

On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor AWKUM, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali, while addressing the gathering, reiterated that such seminars are extremely significant for the dissemination of information among the masses. He further said that through such seminars an awareness in the students and masses is created regarding the problems that our country is facing and this also helps the policy makers in coming up with effective policies and solutions to these problems.

In the end Prof. Dr. Ali congratulated the Chairman Department of Political Science, Prof. Dr. Jehanzeb Khalil and his faculty for organizing the seminar in a wonderful manner.
