ABDUL WALI KHAN UNIVERSITY MARDAN

Meeting of the 25th Selection Board of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, was held on April 18, 2014 at the Main Campus, under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali.

On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Kohat University of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Nasir Jamal, Member Public Service Commission, Mr. Syed Manzoor Ali Shah, Prof. Dr. Syed Mehfooz, University of Peshawar, Dr. Shah Khesro, University of Peshawar, Dr. Mukhtyar, Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar, Dr. Abdul Jamal Khan, Bacha Khan Medical College Mardan, Behr-e-Karam, Director Sports University of Peshawar, Mr. Muhammad Iqbal, Director Sports Hazara University and Mr. Muhammad Ismail, Department of Library Sciences University of Peshawar were present.

Meeting of the Selection Board was held for the vacant posts of Controller Examination, Assistant Professor Computer Science, Additional Director Information Technology, Deputy Director Information Technology, Assistant Director Works, Senior Medical Doctor, Medical Doctor (Male), Medical Doctor (Female), Assistant Director Physical Education (Male), Assistant Director Physical Education (Female) and Librarian.

On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali reiterated that selection of candidates on all the posts would be entirely on merit and it would be ensured that talented and deserving candidates are selected. No compromise whatsoever would be made on merit.

25th meeting of the selection board of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan conclued on April 19, 2014.

The meeting was chaired by the Vice Chancellor , Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali.

On the 2nd and concluding day of the meeting of the selection board, candidates were interviewed for the vacant posts of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in the Department of Agriculture, Bio-technology, Environmental Sciences and Business Admission.

Interviews were also conducted for the administrative posts of Assistant Director Finance, Assistant Director Planning & Development and Auditor.

Candidates residing in foreign countries, were interviewed through skype.

A great number of applicants, graduated from the renowned universities of the world, applied for the academic as well administrative posts of AWKUM.
