13 faculty members departed for the Post-Doctoral level Training, in the 2nd batch of University Partnership in Business Administration in KPK Pakistan to University of Kentucky, USA from the 5 consortium universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that are: Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Kohat University of Science and Technology, University of Peshawar, University of Science and Technology Bannu, and IM|Sciences, Peshawar. Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan is the lead university in this partnership with University of Kentucky, USA.

Dr. Shahid Jan and Dr. Muhammad Tariq from AWKUM, Dr. Mehbood Ur Rashid and Mr. Amir Husain from University of Peshawar, Dr. Hafiz Ullah, Dr. Humera Manzoor and Dr. Safi Ullah Khan from KUST, Dr. Muhammad Zubair Khan, Dr. Muhammad Niaz Khan and Mr. Sohail Rehman from USTB and Dr. Usman Ghani, Dr. Owais Mufti and Dr. Zohra Jabeen from IM|Sciences departed to University of Kentucky, USA for the said training. The participants of the said training will be staying at Gatton School of Business & Economics, UKY

The participants will be attending a doctoral-level research seminar and will receive training in course design and pedagogy at UKY. Each seminar will address one area of business research (e.g., accounting, economics, finance, management, or marketing), and each participant will design a research project to be conducted in Pakistan, guided by a UKY faculty mentor. UKY will also provide training in course construction, classroom management, and pedagogy, and each participant will redesign one course. A second workshop will prepare participants to conduct similar workshops for their colleagues.

On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali reiterated that this partnership is extremely essential for nourishing and learning of the academic staff of all the consortium universities. He further said that we have been doing our best to strengthen our academic staff academically as well professionally and will continue to do so.
