A one day workshop on “Self Assessment Report Writing” was held on March 17, 2014 at the Main Campus, Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan. PT members from Department of Management Sciences, Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Department of English, Department of Islamic Studies and Department of Zoology of Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan attended the workshop.
The workshop commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran. Deputy Director QEC, Mr. Shah Hussain Awan, welcomed the participants and introduced the resource persons. Ms. Mahwish Asmatullah, Assistant Director QEC, Shaheed Benazeer Bhutto University Peshawar, conducted the workshop.
Dr. Shahid Jan Kakakhel, Assistant Professor Department of Management Sciences AWKUM, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He acknowledged the efforts of resource persons and enlightened the attendees with the importance of Self Assessment process at the department level as well as University level. He further said that the PT members should fulfill their duties honestly and he also added that the PT members act like the backbone for QEC in various departments and in time delivery of the Self Assessment Report will stream line the activities of QEC.
