Overseas PhD Scholarships for Faculty Development
APPLICATIONS INVITED

Applications are invited from regular faculty members of AWKUM for Overseas PhD Scholarships in technologically advanced countries in the following subject areas:

Tourism & Hospitality

Zoology

 

Basic Eligibility Criteria:

01. The Candidates must have 18 years of education in the relevant subject with CGPA not less than 3.0 out of 4.0 and should not have more than two 2nd Divisions and no 3rd Division in the entire academic career.
02. Candidates who have 2nd Division in the subject area of English are eligible to apply.
03. The Candidates must have a valid IELTS Score of 6.5 Band with a minimum of 5.5 in each module or equivalent TOEFL Score and International GRE (where applicable).
04. Maximum age is 40 years by closing date of submission of application.
05. Candidates who are already availing HEC/Govt./University or any other Scholarship are not eligible to apply.
06. The candidates must have admission in any of the good ranking university of the world.

Submission of Documents:

The following documents are required to be submitted along with application form:-
1.         Attested photocopies of all educational testimonials.
2.         Attested photocopy of CNIC.
3.         CV/Resume.
4.         Research Proposal.
5.         Statement of Purpose.
6.         Admission Letter.

Important Note:

01. Candidates will be shortlisted by the University Scholarship Selection Committee.
02. The Awardees will have to execute a bond with the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) to serve the University for at least 05 years after completion of the study.
03. During the period of study either salary or stipend will be paid.

01. Application Forms can be downloaded from here (Click to Download). Printed copy of the application form can be obtained from HRD Office, Main Campus, AWKUM.
02. Application Form, complete in all respects should reach the undersigned by Friday 4th April, 2014.
