Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan signs memorandum of understanding with Kyungpook National University, Republic of Korea which is one of the best universities in Republic of Korea and is ranked 550 in the QS world universities ranking.

Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali, signed the MoU on behalf of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan while In Suk Hamm, M. D., PhD, President Kyungpook National University, signed it on behalf of Kyungpook National University, Republic of Korea.

On the occasion, Dean Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Jehanzeb Khan Khalil, Director HRD, Dr. Amir Zaman, Director Academics, Dr. Qasim, Treasurer, Mr. Faizan Malik, Deputy Treasurer, Arsh-Ur-Rahman and Acting Director P&D, Mr. Sayim Sohail were present.  

Under the MoU, both universities will expand and promote their mutual interests by encouraging the exchange of students, exchange of faculty members, exchange of academic publications and information, and development of collaborative research.

On the occasion Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali reiterated that it is quite evident now that AWKUM is not only recognized nationally but also internationally. He further said that we will continue our efforts for establishing international collaborations and linkages for the internationalization of higher education.
