6th Foundation Day of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan was celebrated here on 25th February 2014, in Buner Campus with great zeal and enthusiasm . The ceremony was started with Khatam-Ul- Quran. National and University flags were hoisted and both the anthems were played.

Award Ceremony hosted by Waqas Ahamd Shams in which different Awards were given to the Best Minsiterial staff, Peon, Security Guard, Driver, Mali and Sweeper. All the faculty members, ministerial staff and students were present on the eve. The Principal Govt. Degree College, Daggar, Prof. Muhtaram Khan, SHO Daggar, Farrukh Sayyar participated as guests in the ceremony.

Ex-Coordinator Kausar Saeed, Admin Officer/Chairman Zoology Shahroz Khan, Chairman Management Sciences Arif Hussain and Chariman Computer Science Marvan Khan actively participated in the arrangements of the ceremony.

Campus Coordinator Dr. Muhammad Irshad highlighted the five years progress of the University in his address and asked the students and faculty to utilize. Furthermore he added that the current position of University is because of the sincerity, hardwork, and dedication of Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali Vice Chancellor of the University.

In last special prayers were offered for the progress and prosperity of the University and Country.
