Media Section, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, organized Photography Competition in honor of the 6th Foundation Day. Large number of students participated in the competition. Dean faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Jehanzeb Khan Khalil was the chief guest of the competition.

The theme of the competition was Culture and People. In charge Media Section, Abid Mehmood Yousafzai, Assistant Director HRD, Afzaal Humayun Khan and senior journalist, Mr. Musarrat Aasi were among the panel of judges.

In Culture category, Mr. Junaid Juhi, student of the department of Management Sciences grabbed 1st position, Mr. Wajid Noor, student of the Department of Journalism secured 2nd position, Mr. Hidayat-ur-Rehman of the Department of Journalism got 3rd position while Mr. Haider Ali, student of the Department of Pharmacy was awarded the consolation prize.

In People category, Miss Mehak Nadeep, student of the Department of Management Sciences secured 1st prize, Mr. Zeeshan Yousafzai, student of the Department of Journalism got 2nd prize, Mr. Bakht Muhammad, student of the Department of Journalism secured 3rd prize while Mr. Imran from the Department of Journalism was awarded the consolation prize.

The chief guest, Prof. Dr. Jehanzeb appreciated the efforts and courage of all the participants.
