A delegation of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Dr. Song Jong-Hwan, on 15th January, 2014. The delegation of AWKUM comprised of the Registrar, Prof. Dr. Zahoor-ul-Haq, Prof. Dr. Said Khan  Khalil, Director Human Resource Development, Dr. Amir Zaman and Media In-charge, Abid Mehmood Yousafzai. On the occasion Second Secretary & Consul of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Park Jea Woo and Mr. Fazal Muhammad were also present.

The delegation of AWKUM was led by the Registrar, Prof. Dr. Zahoor-ul-Haq. The purpose of the meeting was to initiate strategic collaboration between AWKUM and universities of the Republic of Korea which will open the gate way for faculty and student exchange, joint research activities, discounted tuition fees and the promotion of culture on both sides. A detailed exchange of views took place between the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea and delegation of AWKUM on these affairs and Dr. Song Jong-Hwan assured his full support.
