An international conference would be held on 20th and 21st January, 2014 at the Main Campus of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. In the conference scholars of various departments including management sciences, education, computer science and mathematics would present their thesis.

A high level meeting, regarding the arrangements of the international conference, took place on January 7, 2014 under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali. Registrar, Prof. Dr. Zahoor-ul-Haq, Chairman Department of Computer Science, Dr. Sher Afzal, Provost, Ibrar Hussain, Director Finance, Faizan Malik and several others attended the meeting.

In the conference, a total of 32 international scholars will take part including scholars from India, North Cyprus, South Africa, Nepal, Afghanistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Officials of the IT industry Pakistan will also be part of the conference who will interview 200 students of AWKUM for job and internship.

Addressing the attendees of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali reiterated that a diverse range of researches would be presented in the conference that would provide an opportunity to the scholars to share their work with each other and hence learn from each other. He further said that all the facilities be utilized in order to make the conference a huge success.
