Vice Chancellor Visit To Buner Campus

Vice Chancellor Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali, paid a visit to Buner Campus AWKUM on 6th September, 2013. In his address to the students, faculty, staff and guests Prof. Dr. Ali reiterated that Buner Campus AWKUM will prove to be a separate and independent University of the future.

On the occasion, Director Finance Mr. Arsh Ur Rehman, Deputy Register (Est) M. Tariq, Director Planning Mr. Saem Sohail, Coordinator Buner Campus Mr. Kausar Saeed, Media In-charge Mr. Abid Mehmood and Provost Mr. Ibrar Hussain were also present.

The Coordinator Buner Campus briefed the Vice Chancellor about the campus and brought a few shortcomings into the notice of the Vice Chancellor. The Vice Chancellor AWKUM gave immediate directives to the staff for sudden resolve of the problems and shortcomings.

Prof. Dr. Ali further said that there would be no compromise whatsoever on merit and what may hurdles come in the way of education, we will put in our best to tackle them because we have been trying from the very first day to disseminate education at large and we will continue to do so. In the end, Prof. Dr. Ali inaugurated Girls and Boys hostels in Buner Campus.
