Miss. Palwasha Sajjad, Lecturer Department of English AWKUM who had been awarded Overseas PhD Scholarship by the University would depart tomorrow to UK in pursuit of her PhD in Applied Linguistics at University of Southampton, UK.

Vice Chancellor AWKUM, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali while congratulating Miss Palwasha Sajjad, said that you are among the very few lucky ones to be selected for such a healthy scholarship and we believe that with your overall performance you will make us proud.

It is worth mentioning here that so far 45 faculty members of AWKUM, who had been awarded Overseas PhD scholarship, are currently pursuing their PhD's in reputed universities of the world. The inclusion of Miss Palwasha Sajjad makes it 46 while 11 faculty members have been awarded Overseas PhD scholarship however their Visa is awaited/in process.
