ABDUL WALI KHAN UNIVERSITY MARDAN
Overseas PhD Scholarships for Faculty Development

APPLICATIONS INVITED

Applications are invited from eligible candidates having valid domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwafor Overseas PhD Scholarships in technologically advanced countries in the following Disciplines:

01. Ancient Civilization 08. Pharmacy
02. Computer Science 09. Political Science
03. Economics 10. Sociology
04. English 11. Statistics
05. Journalism & Mass Communication 12. Tourism & Hospitality
06. Law 13. Zoology
07. Management Sciences    

Basic Eligibility Criteria:

01. The Candidatemust have 18 years of education in the relevant subject with CGPA not less than 3.0 out of 4.0 and should not have more than two 2nd Divisions and no 3rd Division in the entire academic career.
02. The Candidate must have a valid IELTS Score of 6.5 Band with a minimum of 5.5 in each module or equivalent TOEFL Score.
03. Maximum age limit is 35 years except for candidatesworking on a regular basis in Public Sector whose maximum age limit is 40 years by closing date of submission of application.
04. Candidates who are already availing HEC/Govt./University or any other Scholarship are not eligible to apply.

Submission of Documents:

01. Attested photocopies of all educational testimonials.
02. Attested photocopy of CNIC.
03. CV/Resume.
04. Research Proposal.
05. Statement of Purpose.

Important Note:

01. Candidate will be shortlisted by the University Scholarship Selection Committee.
02. Shortlisted candidates will be offered faculty positions after qualifying the University Selection Board.
03. The Awardees will have to execute a bond with the Abdul WaliKhan University Mardan (AWKUM) to serve the University for at least 05 years after completion of the study.
04. During the period of study either salary or stipend will be paid.
