One Day Seminar on “Primary Health Care & Expanded Programme for Immunization” was arranged by Zoology Department Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Buner Campus on 19 Dec 2013, presented by District Health Officer Dr. Muhammad Aqeel Farooqi.

All the students, Admin & Academic Staff of the Campus were present in the Seminar. The aim of the Seminar was create awareness, prevention and social mobilization in Community about the current prevailing diseases e.g Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Tetanus, Meningitis, Polio, Cholera, T.B, Typhoid, Pneumonia and Hepatitis A, B and C among the Children, Pregnant and lactating women and common community people.
In last in Questions and Answers sessions the topic was more highlighted and cleared.

Moreover Coordinator Kausar Saeed highlighted the importance of EPI and how a common person can get access to it very clearly.
