A three days visit of the delegation of National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) Pakistan, for accreditation of M.Phil program of the Department of Education, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, begins today at Main Campus.

Prof. Dr. Irshad Ahmad Farrukh, Secretary, National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education, Pakistan, Zahid Majeed, AllamaIqbal Open University, Prof. Dr. Wazim Khan, Former Director IER, University of Peshawar are the delegates of NACTE team.

During the visit, the delegation was accompanied by the Dr. Riasat Ali Chairman, Department of Education, Mr. Tariq Mehmud, Deputy Director Academic, Mr. Muhammad Idris, Chief Proctor and faculty members of the Department of Education.

The Delegation paid a visit to the Library, Computer Labs and Department of M.Phil Education. They thoroughly inspected the programme curriculum taught to the students of M.Phil Education and the facilities provided to the students.

Acknowledging the unbelievable success of AWKUM, the delegation remarked that in a short span of time, the University has achieved ample milestones and AWKUM is the 1st University in Pakistan which has already accredited B.Ed and M.Ed programs and current visit is pertaining to the accreditation of M.Phil Education program NACTE.
