Colorful and lively event took place on the occasion of international day of people with Disability at AWKUM .in the Garden campus; competition took place between the special teams. To create awareness between the masses regarding the special persons, student, faculty members and administrative staff of the university rallied from the university to the press Club.

In regard to the international Day of people with Disability, the sport Directorate AWKUM organized three different competitions which included a cricket match between team of blind association cricket teams 50 meter sprint and tug of war.

Teams of the dumb and deaf participated in 200 meter race, cricket and tug of war. Persons with physical Disabilities participated wheel chair racing, shot put , jewel in throw and discus throw. Other

Than the competition, traditional musical events were also organized for the special persons where they performed and expressed jubilance.  

In the and , prize distribution ceremony took place in which the registrar Dr. saeed islam was the Chief Guest. Director Sport Mr. Himayat shah .Director Administration Mr. Pir  Asfandyar .Media Incharge Abid Mehmood and a Great number  of students were present on the occasion.

The Chief Guest distributed prizes among inners of different competition. On the occasion Dr. Saeed islam reiterated stated that persons with Disability are an important part of our society we need to polish their skills and play our role in them the responsible citizens.
