A one day seminar on "How to write a research proposal" was organized on November 29, 2013 for MBA students of Department of Management Sciences Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan (AWKUM). The seminar started with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Mr. Shah Husain Awan Deputy Director QEC welcomed the participants and introduced the resource persons. Dr. Shahid Jan Kakakhel and Dr. Muhammad Tariq (Department of Management Sciences AWKUM) were resource persons.

The purpose of this workshop was to equip students with basic research skills. The resource persons briefed the session on problem statement, literature review and research methodology. A brief Question & Answer session held in the end. Addressing the concluding ceremony, Dr. Muhammad Jehangir appreciated the efforts of QEC and staff of the Department of Management Sciences for organizing such a comprehensive seminar for students. He stressed to organize such kind of events in the future for facilitating research activities in the Department in particular and the University in general.
