ABDUL WALI KHAN UNIVERSITY MARDAN
Visit of the staff and students of University College for Woman to AWKUM Museum.
| The staff and students of the University College for Woman have visited the University Museum of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan on November 28, 2013. A total of 63 students from different disciplines led by their teachers Ms. Rubina Zakir, Ms. Uzma, Ms. Sana Riaz and Ms. Rani participated in the visit. Mr. Abid-ur-Rehman, Curator in consultation with staff of the University College for Women have divided all students into three groups as per their education level. Group-A was of the students of 1st year, comprising of 23 students led by Mr. Shahab Ali. Group-B comprising of 17 students of 2nd year led by Mohammad Ashfaq and Group-C represented a total of 41 students of the 3rd year class led by Mr. Abid-ur-Rehman. An extensive lecture on the Museum collection, its historical context, ongoing activities to future plan of the Museum have been given to the students by each group leader. At the end of visit, all students and staff have tremendously appreciated the efforts made by museum staff and ensured the curator for donating items to this museum. |
