Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan enters Memorandum of Understanding with University of Camerino Italy. In this regard, a formal gathering was arranged in the Main Campus, AWKUM  on November 5, 2013.

In the ceremony, Dean Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Zahoor-ul-Haq, Dean faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Saeed Anwar, Registrar, Saeed Islam and Director HRD, Dr. Amir Zaman were present.

From Abdul Wali Khan University, the memorandum of understanding was signed by the Vice Chancellor AWKUM Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali while from University of Camerino Italy it was signed by the Rector Prof. Flavio Corradini.

The MoU will help promote long term co-operation between the two universities in the form of exchange programs such as exchange of faculty and research staff, joint scientific research, exchange of scientific papers and publications, exchange of information concerning academic administrative practices, traineeships and student visits, participation in evaluation committees and cultural and sporting exchanges. This will enable both the universities to utilize the facilities available on both sides and hence a concrete platform for the internationalization of higher education will be eastablished.

On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali reiterated that AWKUM is playing a vital role in the internationalization of higher education and moving along nicely with its mission of inculcating quality education.
