Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and Kyungpook National University, South Korea, signed Memorandum of Understanding. In light of this MoU, students, faculty and scholars of Department of Physics, AWKUM, and Radiation Research Institute Korea would exchange visits and would be working together to strengthen and enhance research. Both the universities would collaborate in arranging seminars, conferences and workshops.

On behalf of AWKUM, the MoU was signed by the Vice Chancellor AWKUM Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali while on behalf of Kyungpook National University the Director General of Radiation Science Research Institute signed the MoU.

On the occasion Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali reiterated that this is a huge achievement in terms of promoting research. He further said that students and faculty exchange among the two universities will prove fruitful for both the universities.
