Meeting of the 23rd Selection Board of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan was held on October 10, 2013 under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor AWKUM Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali. In the meeting, candidates were interviewed for the posts of lectureship in Department of Chemistry, Education, Islamiat, Health and Physical Education, Political Science and Mathematics. Candidates were also interviewed for the post of Assistant Professor in Department of Education whereas interviews were also taken for the administrative posts of Curator, Assistant Librarian, Assistant Director Sports male and Assistant Director Sports female.

Among the attendees of the meeting were, the Vice Chancellor Kohat University Prof. Dr. Nasir Jamal, former IGP Mr. Aziz Khan, Director QEC Dr. Qasim, Dean of Science Prof. Dr. Saeed Anwar, Dean of Arts Prof. Dr. Zahoor-ul-Haq, Registrar Dr. Saeed-ul-Islam, Deputy Registrar Mr. Muhammad Tariq and different subject experts. In the meeting, suitable candidates were selected on the basis of their academic record, qualification and experience.

Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali on the occasion reiterated that merit has always been the top most priority of AWKUM. He further said that it is hoped that the new inductees would play their utmost role in the progress of the University.
